Ok so you’ve been on a mission to find a fab lip balm. But how do you know this is the one? Other lip balms cause dependency and the more you apply the drier your lips become. Why does this happen? First look at the ingredients in most lip balms, such as petrolatum, which initially feels very soothing on the lips, but it covers the skin like a plastic wrap which interrupts skin oxygenation and therefore cause dryness and dependency.
Apply balm liberally to your lips as often as needed, particularly in sunny, dry, cold or windy conditions.
